How to make awesome 3-Ingredient keto/low carb bread bites

Are you currently on a ketogenic or low carb diet? You miss bread? Well, we do have something for you today!

Every time when I watched my carb intake I got to a point where I couldn't stop thinking about a good stuffed sandwich or the smell of bread.

That's why I made these no-carb, keto-friendly mini bread bites. They give you the satisfaction of eating bread, but without carbs. Isn't that amazing?

Loaded with protein and good fats, they're light and fluffy and you can top them with any herbs you want to. Each bread bite has a soufflé-like texture when it comes out of the oven. After several hours in the fridge it becomes more bread-like.

But enough talking and let me give you this amazing recipe, so you can try it yourself!

3-Ingredient keto/low carb cheesy bread bites

Preparation time: 20 min
Baking time: 20 min

Ingredients (serves about 14 bites)

  • 3 whole eggs
  • 100g full fat soft cheese
  • 1 pinch baking powder
  • optional: fresh or dried herbs, sea salt and other spices

Preheat the oven to 150°C/300°F. Separate egg yolks from egg whites. Place both separately in medium bowls and set aside.

Add the full fat soft cheese to the yolks and mix until it's well blended (it needs to be perfectly smooth). Now add the baking powder to the egg whites and whip the egg whites until they are extremely firm.

Fold the egg mixtures together and mix well. Spoon the mixture onto a baking sheet or a baking tray and add your seasoning and herbs. Bake for about 20 minutes.

Now you can make your own club or avocado sandwiches without any carbs. You'll be amazed, I promise!
